CUTTING FORMAT:

Logos submitted for use in jobs where computer cutting will be involved must be set up for cutting to avoid addition set up or art fees. Just because its a vector based file in .eps,.ai or .fs does not mean it is cuttable. Vectors set up for print are not cuttable 99% of the time. We start billing for artwork after .5 hours at our standard art rate.

SCREEN PRINTING:

When submitting artwork for traditional screen printed products please have them submitted at the desired size with proper color separations. If you are unable to provide the proper files we can set them up for you and supply them on a disk for future orders.

FILE FORMAT:

We accept the following file formats TIFF, JPG, EPS, AI, PSD, PDF & FS

RESOLUTION:

Warning: Low-Resolution Images Will Not Print Well!
Many images, particularly 72dpi jpegs taken off the Internet, look jagged and blurry when printed using crisp, professional lithography on glossy stock. For best results, we recommend that your images be at least 300dpi (dots per inch).

COLOR MODE:

You will have more control over the appearance of your printed piece if you convert all of the images from RGB to CMYK before sending them to us. When we receive RGB images, we do a standard-value conversion to CMYK, which may not be perfectly to your liking. You can use popular programs such as Adobe Photo shop or Photo Deluxe to perform the conversions.

To avoid any issues, all color artwork and/or images must be be provided in CMYK (cyan, magenta, yellow, black) color mode or have an online proof signed off on before the job is qued to print. To avoid production delays please have all artwork converted to CMYK before submission..
All black & white artworks and/or images must be provided in grayscale color mode.
Heavy black ink might cause smearing.

BLEED:

Please build your press-ready digital files by adding 0 .1" dimension for business cards, postcards, and rack cards. Add 0.125" for all other products.
We require ALL files to be built to the full bleed dimension specified for each trim size.
We automatically trim 0.05" or 0.0625" off each edge, which will result in the desired trim size
Simply add 0.1" or 0.125" to the overall dimension of your digital layout. Example: a 5" x 7" would have a bleed size of 5.1" x 7.1" and a 8.5"x11" flyer would have a bleed size of 8.625"x11.125".

CROP MARKS:

Please build your press-ready digital files by adding crop marks.
Lines indicating where the paper should be cut to produce the correct size.

FONTS:

a. Fonts must be embedded in PDF files.
b. Fonts must be outlined or converted to paths or curves in EPS files.
c. Some fonts have copyright restrictions and will not embed in PDF Files.

SAFE ZONE:

All critical elements (text, images, logos, etc.) must be kept at least 0.125" inside the edge. Anything left close to edge may be cut off during trimming.

BORDERS:

Please allow 1/16" cutting space around your card. No borders are recommended, as shifting in the cutting process may make borders appear uneven.
